  • 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's)
  • 36 Tbsp. bourbon

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground venison, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.
  4. Add BBQ sauce, water, and bourbon to the skillet, stirring to coat the meatballs evenly.
  5. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
