  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 4 tbsp butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 large cooked chicken breasts, finely chopped (about 2 cups)
  • ½ cup finely grated cheddar cheese (for filling)
  • 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 24 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 12 cup grated cheddar cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small pot over medium heat, combine the cream of chicken soup, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, and heavy whipping cream until melted.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, butter, and garlic powder until smooth. Mix in chopped chicken, onion, remaining heavy whipping cream, seasoning salt, black pepper, and half cup grated cheddar cheese.
  4. Unroll the crescent rolls and spoon about a tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto each roll. Roll from the larger end.
  5. Pour some sauce into the baking dish and arrange the rolled crescent rolls on top. Cover with more sauce and sprinkle additional cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
