  • 1 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 ounces chocolate almond bark
  • 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • ½ of a 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon mint extract

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  2. Combine dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, baking powder) into the creamed mixture until just blended.
  3. Roll dough into balls, place on a greased baking sheet, and press your thumb into each to create wells.
  4. Bake at 350°F for about 12 minutes, re-impressing the wells if needed after baking.
  5. Prepare mint fudge filling by melting white chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and stirring in mint extract. Fill cookie wells with this mixture.
  6. Drizzle melted chocolate almond bark over cookies before letting them cool completely.
