  • 13.2 ounces DeLallo No-Boil Lasagna
  • 24 ounces shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 12 ounces Italian cheese blend (asiago, parmesan)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 6 ounces pancetta
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 6.3-ounce jar DeLallo Simply Basil Pesto
  • 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Prepare the soffritto by chopping carrots, celery, and onions in a food processor until fine.
  2. In the same processor, chop pancetta and garlic into small pieces.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy-bottomed pot; cook the pancetta mixture until fragrant.
  4. Add soffritto to the pot and season with salt; cook until browned.
  5. Brown the ground beef and pork in the pot before stirring in tomato paste.
  6. Pour in red wine, scraping up browned bits; add herbs, crushed tomatoes, and broth.
  7. Simmer for about 90 minutes before stirring in heavy cream and parmesan.
  8. Combine ricotta, pesto, eggs, and parmesan in a bowl.
  9. Assemble lasagna layers with noodles, bolognese sauce, ricotta mixture, and cheeses.
  10. Refrigerate overnight before baking at 375°F for about 60 minutes.
