  • 1 (14-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup port wine

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, evaporated milk, breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix. Mix until combined; refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to broil. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and shape the mixture into approximately 36 meatballs. Broil for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. In a Dutch oven, combine ketchup, brown sugar, port wine, and remaining Worcestershire sauce; simmer until smooth. Add meatballs and simmer for 30-40 minutes until cooked through.
