Instructions

  2. In a saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and water; cook until saucy (5-7 minutes). Cool slightly.
  3. Melt butter with chocolate chips in another saucepan; let cool.
  4. Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder; fold into wet ingredients.
  6. Pour half the batter into an 8×8 inch baking pan; drizzle with half the raspberry sauce. Repeat layers and swirl.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool before cutting into squares.
