  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour until smooth, then gradually add heavy cream while whisking until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and garlic powder until melted.
  5. In a bowl, combine cooked macaroni with pulled pork; pour cheese sauce over and mix well.
  6. Transfer to the baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
