  • 8 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 oz) chunk light tuna packed in water, drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs mixed with 2 tbsp melted butter for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente (about 5-7 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, combine cooked noodles, drained tuna, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, half of the cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Heat on medium until warmed through and bubbling gently.
  4. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let sit for five minutes before serving.
