  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped and toasted
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, cream butter with sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and fold in toasted pecans (reserve some for topping). Chill dough for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden.
  5. Drizzle warm cookies with caramel sauce and top with reserved pecans.
