  • 45 grams powdered sugar
  • 25 grams beaten egg (about half an egg)
  • 165 grams all-purpose flour
  • 35 grams dried cranberries
  • 4 grams matcha powder

Instructions

  1. Bring butter to room temperature until soft. Do not melt it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter and powdered sugar; mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the beaten egg, mixing well after each addition until fluffy.
  4. Sift in all-purpose flour and fold gently until no dry spots remain.
  5. Divide dough into two halves; mix cranberries into one half and knead matcha into the other.
  6. Shape the cranberry dough into a log and flatten the matcha dough into a rectangle.
  7. Roll the matcha dough around the cranberry log and shape it as desired.
  8. Freeze for about 30 minutes, then slice into thin pieces.
  9. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake cookies for approximately 20 minutes.
