  • 1 tablespoon lavender syrup (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, dried lavender buds, and lemon zest until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, cream together room temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Add the egg, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
