  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup rice vinegar
  • 1 small knob fresh ginger (minced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)

Instructions

  1. In a sealable plastic bag or large dish, whisk together brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Reserve ½ cup marinade for basting.
  2. Add chicken to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
