  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 23 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 12 Tbsp sriracha
  • 23 Tbsp chicken broth
  • 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt (more or less to taste)
  • 2 tsp corn starch
  • ½ c mayonnaise (for the bang bang sauce)
  • 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce (for the bang bang sauce)
  • ½1 Tbsp sriracha (more to kick up the spice)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp honey (for the sauce)
  • Rice (for serving)
  • Shredded carrots
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Shelled edamame
  • Pickled onions
  • Avocado
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Sliced green onion
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bang bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat sesame oil and add the ground turkey. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, honey, black pepper, sea salt, and cornstarch. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Assemble bowls by serving rice as the base and topping it with the seasoned turkey mixture and desired toppings. Drizzle with bang bang sauce.
