  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Torani Peppermint Flavoring Syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 34 tablespoons milk or water
  • 2 teaspoons pure peppermint extract
  • Crushed peppermint candy canes for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, water, eggs, vegetable oil, and peppermint syrup. Mix until smooth using an electric mixer.
  3. Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan. Pour in the batter and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  5. For frosting, beat softened butter and powdered sugar together, adding milk gradually until desired consistency is reached. Mix in peppermint extract.
  6. Once cooled, frost the cake evenly and sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
