  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 jar raspberry preserves
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 24 tbsp whole milk

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water and sugar in a mixing bowl; sprinkle yeast on top and let sit until frothy (5–10 minutes).
  2. In another bowl, whisk together bread flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  3. Mix the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients along with 4 tbsp olive oil until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let rise in an oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap for about 30 minutes or until doubled.
  6. Shape dough on parchment-lined baking sheet and let rise again for 15 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Create dimples in dough and drizzle with remaining olive oil.
  8. Bake for about 18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before spreading raspberry preserves and drizzling with confectioners' sugar mixed with milk.
