  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix half of the cheese, heavy cream, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in the baking dish, spooning some of the cheese mixture between layers and finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
