  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually combine with the butter mixture.
  4. For the filling, blend cream cheese with brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
  5. Scoop cookie dough, flatten it slightly, add a teaspoon of filling, fold over the dough and roll into a ball.
  6. Place on prepared sheets two inches apart and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden around edges.
