  • ½ cup heavy cream

  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla bean seeds.

  5. Fill liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden. Cool completely before adding topping.
  6. Sprinkle sugar on each cupcake and caramelize using a kitchen torch or broiler until golden brown. Serve immediately.
