  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature while preparing other ingredients.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Place chicken in the skillet and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add halved cherry tomatoes and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in fresh basil leaves until wilted.
