  • 15 g sugar
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 240 g mascarpone cheese
  • 360 ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread halved strawberries on a baking tray, sprinkle with sugar, and roast for 20–25 minutes until soft.
  2. Blend the roasted strawberries into a smooth puree and chill.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  4. Add cold heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt; whisk until soft peaks form.
  5. Layer half of the ice cream mixture in a freezer-safe dish, add half of the chilled strawberry sauce, and swirl gently.
  6. Repeat layering with remaining ice cream mixture and strawberry sauce. Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
