  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 14 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup full fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs plus one egg yolk, room temperature
  • 4 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 3 tbsp confectioner’s sugar
  • 3 tbsp natural unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix crushed Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter; divide into muffin cups and press down to form crusts.
  3. Bake crusts for 5 minutes; let cool slightly.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F (149°C).
  5. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, cocoa powder, yogurt, vanilla extract, eggs, and melted chocolate until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips; pour filling over crusts.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are set but centers are slightly jiggly.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
