Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with paprika, black pepper, and oregano.
  2. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add honey and soy sauce to deglaze the skillet, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Stir in rice and chicken broth; mix well.
  6. Place seared chicken on top of the rice mixture and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook on low for about 20 minutes until rice is tender.
  7. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, cover again for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
