Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 ½ cups granulated sugar (divided)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 oranges (zested and juiced)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¾ cup vanilla yogurt
  • ¾ cup orange juice (divided)
  • For the glaze: 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons orange juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans.
  2. In a stand mixer, beat the softened butter with 2 cups of sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the orange zest.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Separately mix yogurt and remaining orange juice. Gradually add dry ingredients and yogurt mixture to the batter until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pans and bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar with orange juice. Once bread cools, drizzle glaze over loaves.
