  • 3.5 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 whole large egg (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coarse cane sugar (for rolling)
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach filling by cooking diced peaches with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and salt until thickened. Mash lightly and set aside to cool.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, and sugars until fluffy. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. Chill the dough for about 30 minutes.
  4. Roll dough into balls, coat in cinnamon-sugar mix, then create an indentation to fill with peach filling.
  5. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for approximately 12-13 minutes. Allow to cool before adding glaze.
