  • 3 large peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter with brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir until combined, then spread evenly in the baking dish. Arrange peach slices on top.
  3. In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
  4. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture until just combined.
