  • 4 oz vodka (gluten-free option available)
  • 2 oz Kahlua (or coffee liqueur)
  • 3 oz fresh brewed espresso (cooled)
  • 2 oz half & half (or dairy-free creamer)
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • Chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare two martini glasses by dipping the rims in chocolate syrup and then in crushed candy canes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add vodka, Kahlua, espresso, half & half, and peppermint extract.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 60 seconds to mix and chill the ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses and garnish each with three espresso beans.
