  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring; mix well.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; fold gently until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla extract; mix until creamy.
  5. Pour three-fourths of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spread cheesecake layer on top and drop spoonfuls of remaining brownie batter over it.
