  • 2 bags (4.5 ounces each) Werther's soft caramels
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 7 ½ cups mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Unwrap the caramels; set aside 10 for later use. Melt the remaining caramels in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until smooth.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in 5 ½ cups mini marshmallows and melted caramel until mostly combined.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and ½ teaspoon sea salt; fold in the remaining mini marshmallows until well mixed. Pour into the prepared pan and gently press down.
  5. Melt reserved caramels and drizzle over the top, sprinkling with additional sea salt if desired. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
