  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded smoked gouda cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season short ribs with salt and pepper and sear in a hot skillet until browned on all sides. Transfer to a slow cooker with broth and cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender. Shred the meat.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until translucent. Stir in heavy cream and smoked gouda cheese until melted and smooth.
  3. Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness and transfer to a baking sheet.
  4. Spread smoked gouda sauce over the dough and top with shredded short ribs.
  5. Bake at 475°F (245°C) for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden.
