  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup red wine
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes, drained

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by whisking together olive oil, soy sauce, red wine, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Make shallow cuts on the flank steak and marinate it in a resealable bag for at least 8 hours.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Pat the steak dry and spread garlic paste over it.
  4. Layer onion, bread crumbs, spinach, Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes on top.
  5. Roll the steak tightly and secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks.
