  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in rinsed jasmine rice and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and grated ginger. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 15 minutes until rice is tender.
  6. Return cooked sausage to the skillet, fluff rice with a fork, season as desired, and serve.
