  • 3/4 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

  • 1 large egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk (as needed for consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In another bowl, mix warm milk with melted butter and egg. Gradually add to dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
  2. Cover dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, chopped strawberries, and jam until smooth.
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. Spread softened butter on top and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  5. Spread the strawberry cheesecake filling over the dough and roll tightly into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the glaze by mixing cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until desired consistency is reached. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
