  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the pork with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour and cornstarch. Dip each pork piece in beaten egg, then coat with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pork in batches until golden brown and crispy; drain on paper towels.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add onion and bell peppers; cook until tender.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour over vegetables; simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add fried pork to the skillet; toss to coat with sauce. Cook for an additional few minutes.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.
