  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 (.25 oz.) package Platinum Yeast (active dry yeast)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 4 Tbsp. softened butter (for filling)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blueberry filling by heating blueberries, sugar, and orange juice in a saucepan until slightly thickened; set aside.
  2. In another saucepan, heat milk until bubbly, then mix in butter until melted; cool slightly.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl; add cooled milk mixture, water, and egg; mix well.
  4. Gradually add remaining flour until dough is cohesive; knead for about five minutes until tacky but not sticky.
  5. Let dough rise covered until doubled in size (about 40–60 minutes).
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it; sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar before adding blueberry filling.
  7. Roll into a log shape, slice into rolls, and let them rise again (20–30 minutes).
  8. Bake at 350°F for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar, lemon juice, and milk.
