  • 8 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 7 cups powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, and orange zest; mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually add flour until dough forms; chill cut-out cookies for 10–15 minutes before baking.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden; cool completely before icing.
  6. Prepare icing by mixing meringue powder, lemon juice, and water; gradually add powdered sugar.
